Looking Stone Farm takes on a limited number of lesson students as an introduction to our training program.

Lessons allow beginner and intermediate riders to see if training with LSF aligns with their long-term riding goals prior to leasing or purchasing a horse. Lessons are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length and include basic horsemanship such as grooming, tacking, untacking, as well as riding. All lessons are taught privately until riders can comfortably walk, trot, and steer on their own.

Give students an introduction to LSF’s barn environment and training program

Guide riders at the beginning steps of their riding journeys

Educate beginner and intermediate riders of horsemanship and riding at a performance level

Provide access to top trainers at an introductory level

Create a stepping stone into LSF’s training program

Evaluation lesson: $125
Continuing lessons: $100

LSF caters to riders of all ages and skill-levels that have a love of horses, riding, and showing.
