About
Ana Jayne

Ana can take a rider from their first lesson or first horse show and help them to become a confident, successful, show ring competitor.

As a junior, under the tutelage of Renee Ronshausen at Crystal Clear Farm, Ana showed in everything from Green Pony Hunters and Children’s Jumpers, to Junior Hunters and Medal Finals before turning professional at 18. While riding with Renee, Ana had the opportunity to train and develop many young horses and ponies. She took horses and ponies from just being ridden under saddle and attending their first horse shows, and turned them into show ring veterans, ready for a junior or amateur rider. This is when her passion for young horses developed, and she learned what it really takes to create a happy, healthy, and successful show horse.

In 2012, Ana was reserve champion at the Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) nationals, a talent search program designed to spot hidden talent in the hunter/jumper industry. She became the first rider from Northern California to be invited to, and participate in, the prestigious George Morris Horsemastership Training Session (GMHTS) in Wellington, Florida. The GMHTS is an exclusive yearly clinic that invites the country’s top twelve up and coming young riders to spend a week training with George Morris and learning from other top professionals in the equine industry.

As a professional rider, Ana has competed in classes from baby green hunters to performance hunters, and jumpers to 1.40m. Her professional career has also been focused on training riders both at home and at horse shows. She draws from knowledge gained while working for Renee Ronshausen at Crystal Clear Farm, Hope/Ned Glynn at Sonoma Valley Stables, Sanjay Bagai at Zeitgeist Equestrian, and Lisa Durbrow/Cyd Shald at Longview Stables, as well as time spent as a show-rider for Stable Obora in Czech Republic, to help each horse and rider achieve show ring success while maintaining a focus on loving and appreciating our sport and equine partners.
